Since the last update my Spotify App on my iPhone doesn't recognize my Premium account anymore. On my Mac it still says I have a Premium account. I can log in on the app, search music, but when I press a song, I get a new screen that says it's Premium material and that you need a Premium account to listen to this song. If you’re traveling to a different country or region, you can take Spotify with you!

Premium

If you have Premium, you can travel anywhere without having to change your settings.

If you permanently move to another country or region, you need to update your payment method to one that's issued there:

1. Log in to your account page.
2. Under Your plan, click UPDATE next to your payment method.
3. Enter a new payment method that was issued in your new country or region.

The changes will take effect from your next billing date.

Spotify Free

If you're on Spotify Free you can use Spotify in a different country or region for up to 14 days.

To continue listening after 14 days, you can change your settings:

1. Log in to your account page.
2. Click EDIT PROFILE.
3. Scroll down to Country or region and select your new place from the dropdown list.
   Note: Your new country or region only shows when you’re actually there.
4. Click SAVE PROFILE.

What Is Spotify App

You can also upgrade to Premium to listen anywhere for as long as you want without having to change your settings.
