Once Verified, artists or their representatives can add their lyrics to our database.

Next, use Spotify to start playing a song and head back to the QuickLyric app. The song's lyrics should instantly display on the screen. Some songs even have live lyrics available. Once a song ends, you might need to hit the refresh button to change the lyrics to the new track.

You must have the legal right to submit content.

If you are interested in sharing lyrics on Instagram, please make sure to Add and Synchronize the entirety of the lyrics as the artist sings it, in accordance with our Writing Guidelines.

Spotify Lyrics In App Music

Please follow these steps:

1) Download our desktop or mobile App and log in with your Verified Account

2) If you are using the desktop app, you need to play the song on Spotify. From there you’ll be able to access the corresponding page in order to synchronize the lyrics with the music.

For example, if you would like to add the lyrics of 'Vestige' by Pair Of Arrows:

3) You’ll be able to access the corresponding page in the App (this will open up automatically) and from there you can add and synchronize the lyrics in time to the music.

4) Add the lyrics and then click on 'Continue' to synchronize the lyrics

5) Click on the purple button 'End' to confirm that you've completed the synchronization

Spotify has a pretty good desktop app for Windows 10, but it lacks in one important feature – it does not display music lyrics.

Users have been complaining about the issue for some time, and it appears the company is finally responding.

MSPoweruser reader Alan Laiter has sent us a screenshot where Spotify is teasing “some big improvements to our lyrics feature“, suggesting users stay tuned for updates.

Spotify has actually been testing the feature for about a month, with some screenshots available.

The screenshot suggests the Spotify Desktop app will make a pretty good Karaoke substitute when it finally rolls out.

We understand the lyrics will be supplied by MusicMatch and will be a combination of artist-submitted lyrics and also community-generated entries.
