It’s no surprise that ever single year, Spotify has been the best in its market. From mobile app design to music sharing capabilities, Spotify has created an extremely easy-to-use platform that attracts over 248 million monthly users. With a library of millions of songs and hundreds of playlists created by the Spotify community, the platform has become the one-top-shop for music, podcasts, and radio. Spotify’s “Liked Songs” allows you to create a playlist for the music to particularly love. These songs are stored in your library and are there as a separate playlist called “Liked Songs”. This playlist is completely customizable as you can easily add, remove, and reorder songs.
Click ‘Remove from Your Liked Songs’ Performing this action seems to be slightly faster than from a mobile device, but you will still have to delete them individually. If you want to remove your Spotify songs because they are taking up too much space on your device, Spotify has a better option.
Within a couple of seconds you can easily remove multiple songs from your “Liked Songs” playlist. Instead of slowly removing each individual song slowly, you can delete multiple songs at once from this playlist. How to Remove Multiple Songs from “Liked Songs” on Spotify
To Remove Multiple Songs:
- Open your “Liked Songs” Playlist
There are three ways to do this:
- The “X”
- Remove each song by hovering over the Love icon until an “X” appears
- Click the “X”
- The Three Dots
- Click on the three dots next to the song you want to remove
- Click “Remove from your Liked Songs”
- The Keyboard Shortcut
- Use Control + A or Command + A, depending on your device
- Right Click on the song you want to remove and click “Remove from your Liked Songs”
Now you have three different ways you can remove songs from your “Liked Songs” on Spotify. While it may seem tedious to remove each song one by one, I can assure you that it takes a short amount of time. This feature allows you to have full control over your playlist and listen to whatever song you want, whenever you want. Instead of searching for each song you like when you want to listen to it, this playlist centralizes all your favorite music.
